Interior designers are well acquainted with the paradox, when the spatial limitations of a small dwelling do not deter the author, but, on the contrary, stimulate him to achieve maximum functionality.

Project studio apartment 29 square meters. m, which is located in a new building in the South of Moscow, is an excellent example of how to properly organize the space of a small studio. The interior of the studio in a discreet monochrome palette designed by designer Elena Potemkina in a modern style and demonstrates a new approach that does not quite coincide with the principles of the classic European-style repair.

Layout

Living area

The living room serves as a bedroom, and the main component of filling the room is a versatile type of furniture - a wardrobe-bed-sofa transformer. In fact, it is a wardrobe combined with a sofa, which can be turned into a full-size bed with an orthopedic mattress, laid on the slats. This bed has no joints between the pillows, as in the folding sofas, which greatly increases comfort.

The tables with a glossy glass top are of different height and location for convenient use. The interior is enriched by pale green accents - a volume seat bag and a pillow.

The visual center of the room is a television panel and a long dresser. The texture of the concrete gives the interior a certain brutality, but it is balanced by black and chrome-plated surfaces, as well as soft watercolor on the wall and a vase with flowers. For lighting, directional lights are used, mounted on a rectangular structure suspended from the ceiling.

Kitchen area

The compact kitchen set of matte black color contains the necessary minimum of kitchen appliances, and because of the lack of space, the oven was placed in a separate cupboard, where there are storage systems.

The furniture creates a smooth transition to the entrance area and contains a seating area. A narrow dining table, a bit like a bar counter, with high chairs defines a dining area. On the suspended ceiling mounted overhead lights and suspensions with geometric shapes, which are used for evening lighting and decor at the same time.

Bathroom

In the project of a studio apartment of 29 sq. M. m. inside the kitchen composition is hidden toilet room. For its decoration used tiles with the texture of black stone and a panel with a richly colored wood texture. Despite the modest size of the room, it found a place for a washing machine. Complements the interior rack for placing toiletries.
