The studio with high ceilings, thanks to a competent approach to the use of the entire accessible area, not only horizontally but also vertically, turned into a comfortable apartment for a young girl, in which there is absolutely everything that is needed.
Disposition of a two-level studio with high ceilings
A living room, a kitchen, a bathroom with a shower room, a separate bedroom with a dressing room and even a mini office for work fit on an area of 24 square meters.
Usually for apartments of small size, white is chosen as the main color - it allows you to visually expand the space. In this case, the author of the project, Tatiana Shishkina, decided that the main one would be black - and did not lose. Black color blurs the boundaries between the volumes, due to which the studio does not look broken into separate "pieces", but looks whole and harmonious.
Almost four-meter-high ceilings allowed the designer to arrange a second floor in the studio - there is a study and a bedroom with a dressing room. All zones are quite modest size, but quite comfortable for one person.
The apartment is located in the "Stalinist" house, and the authors of the project treated the history of the house with respect. General lighting is provided by overhead lights, but the ceiling has a stucco outlet for a chandelier, and the chandelier itself, although it has a very modern look, nevertheless clearly refers us to the classics.
In developing the interior of a studio apartment with high ceilings, the designer has provided quite a lot of places to store things. The main thing is the storage system on the second floor. From the bedroom it is separated by a curtain, hung on a high cornice of L-shaped, fixed on the ceiling. This way of separating zones does not "eat up" the space, and retains the possibility at any time to retire for a night rest.
Before the storage system there was a place for a substantial table - it will be convenient to work at it. A small chair nearby is quite comfortable and does not take up much space.
So that the black color does not negatively affect the nervous system, the designer made the floors, the ceiling and part of the walls in the apartment light, it added dynamics to the interior.
