Apartment design 20 sq. M. m. is a vivid example of how you can put everything for a comfortable and comfortable life even on a very small area. The design is based on the minimalism style, it allows you to achieve the expressiveness of the interior with simple means, without cluttering up the space with things that are unnecessary in functional terms. It turned out spacious, modern, stylish accommodation, which satisfied all the needs of the owners.
Layout
Designers were important every square centimeter square, so the walls separating the kitchen, room and hallway, removed. As a result, an open space formed of a slightly larger area than before the alteration.
In order to isolate functional zones from each other, a sliding partition was constructed. It consists of three independently moving mirror paintings, and separates the kitchen-dining room from the bedroom-living room. Together, the partitions are placed behind the side wall of the storage system located in the living room. If the partitions are moved apart, they divide the room in half, while visually each part of the room is doubled due to reflection in the mirror canvases.
Color solution
The main color in the design of the apartment is 20 square meters. m. chose light gray, it complements the chocolate-brown tone of natural wood, which is decorated with walls, as well as furniture. The floor is covered with wide light wooden planks laid in a diagonal direction - this complicates the geometry of the space and visually expands it. Furniture with white facades of glossy texture comes into play with light and reflections with mirrored partitions, supporting this effect.
Style
In the decoration of the apartment a lot of chrome, glass, gloss. This informs the minimalism of high-tech shades, and makes the interior richer. High-tech is expressed in the chrome-plated legs of furniture and dishes, glass spots and bottle shades over the bar counter.
Living room
In the living area, in addition to a large TV panel, there is a study - a small table is built into the storage system, above it there are open shelves for the literature needed in the work, next is a comfortable chair on wheels.
Opposite the TV panel is a sofa built into the storage system, having open sides on the sides and closed shelves on the top. The lower part of the side sections of the cabinet performs at night, when the sofa turns into a bed, the functions of bedside tables. In the afternoon, the sofa is the center of the living area, you can comfortably sit on it to watch TV shows, or arrange friendly gatherings.
Kitchen
The gloss of the fronts of a kitchen set visually seems to "dissolve" in space, further increasing the illumination due to high reflective properties. Each item in the design of an apartment of 20 square meters. m. - in its place, its location is carefully checked. As a result, the furniture is not conspicuous, and at the same time it fully performs its functions and accommodates everything that is needed - both stocks of products and household appliances.
The kitchen, which is l-shaped in plan, consists of two work areas: a hob with a sink is built into one part of the worktop, the other serves as a cutting table, and also a bar counter that replaces the dining group.
Bathroom
The area of the bathroom is only 2.6 square meters. m., therefore, it housed only the most necessary. The main feature of the interior is the angular placement of the main elements. A shower cabin, a sink with a hanging storage system under it, a toilet with a shelf on the installation system used for storing towels and a clothes dryer are located at the corners of the room, the fourth corner is reserved for free opening the door.
Here, everything is also thought out for maximum visual expansion of the area: the glass walls of the shower stall, the hanging pedestal under the sink, the large plane of the mirror above it fills the space with light and air.
Lighting
General light is provided by ceiling mounted lights. The part of the working area that performs the role of a dining table in combination is highlighted by three suspensions. In addition to the desktop, a ribbon of LEDs also illuminated the bottom of the cabinets in the kitchen area and a large mirror over the sofa in the living room, from which the evening lighting scheme became unusually comfortable.
