Design of a black and white apartment in the art deco style

The design of a black and white apartment was developed in the Geometrix Design studio in order to surprise and amaze the imagination of those who come to visit the hostess, a young stylish girl.

The changes began with the layout: the living room, kitchen and dining room were combined into a single space. The decoration is made in two contrasting colors - black and white, but the individual elements of the Art Deco style in the apartment allowed for softness and grace.

Initially, the apartment had a column, which takes place between the kitchen and living room. She did not begin to clean, and faced with glossy black panels.

Thanks to the use of art deco elements in the apartment, the living room turned out to be especially luxurious and cozy. White self-leveling floor, decorated with intricate black pattern with elegant curls, stylish armchair with bright purple velvet upholstery, which in itself is an art object, soft light from a floor lamp - all this turns this corner of the apartment into a pleasant place to relax and meet friends.

The strict design of the black-and-white apartment needed to be mitigated, and we coped with this task by using soft materials and elements of high art-deco style in the decoration. The interior can change its mood with the help of various lighting: the clear, the contrast, the soft, the softened.

The velvet of the upholstery and curtains, the soft, delicate skin of the sofa make up an interesting contrast with the cold, hard glossy panels. Glass, decorated with facets, add dynamism.

The main element of art deco in the apartment is the floor. It is self-leveling, seamless, with a glossy surface. The main color is white, but an exquisite floral pattern is applied to it, starting at the entrance and going to the relax zone.

Paul took on the role of the main decorative accent in the interior, he draws attention and distracts from the excessive severity of straight glossy surfaces. Due to the reflections, it also slightly increases the height of the room visually.

The bedroom is adjacent to the bathroom and a large dressing room, together they form the private space of the hostess, hidden from prying eyes. The entrance to this private area is masked by a decorative glass panel.

The entrance hall in the design of a black and white apartment is very laconic, the walls of the walls hide the entrance to the bathroom for guests, and a large closet for clothes. Black glossy floor, white walls and ceiling - everything is strictly and practical.
